The plan is made up of 3 ramps, One of these runs down the Western side of the building to connect the river and road for cyclists. The other two start off at either end, at ground level and then rise to join together and lead onto the cycle storage on the first floor. This storage is then connected straight onto the City Wall level, allowing easy access to the City Centre for commuters. The entire plan is formed around these ramps. A central courtyard allows light and cross ventilation for the shops, cafe and bike storage. This courtyard acts as a bicycle tryout zone for the bike rental shops along this very tourist central area.
